Raspberry/Boysenberry Freezer Jam

Growing up, my siblings and I loved it when my mom made us pancakes (we still do) and what better than raspberry jam to top your pancakes with. Although I used boysenberries in this recipe, you can just use raspberries if boysenberries aren't your cup of tea. There are lots of different ways to make raspberry jam, this is the way we enjoyed it as kids and I hope you will to!

Ingredients for Raspberry/ Boysenberry Jam:
1 lb raspberries
1 lb boysenberries
2 lb white cane sugar
A potato masher
How to make this super easy jam:

 1. Pour some of the sugar onto the base of a deep bowl.

2. Pour some of the (washed) berries on top of the sugar.

3. Add some more sugar on top of the berries.
4. Continue this until all your berries run out and let it stand for a couple hours.

5. Mash!

6. Pour into jam jars and enjoy right away, or freeze to enjoy later!
